I’ve been in Boston since Tuesday-my first visit. In between meetings, I’ve ventured out for some walking tours. I walked the Freedom Trail Wednesday-in the cool rain. That made it interesting. I’ve enjoyed great food, met great people and seen the weather change throughout each day-more changes than weather in Florida!
Saturday was cold but beautiful blue skies so I started out at 8:30 am-walked down Newbury St. which is full of trendy and designer stores and eateries. I explored Boston Commons-beatufiful with fall leaves changing colors, caught the swans in the water and marveled at the “world’s smallest retention bridge. I found my way to Beacon Hill, the ultimate in Brownstones with the feeling of stepping back in time. I had a wonderful Italian lunch at Toscano on Charles St. in Beacon Hill. Prosecco, Anna Al Pomodoro soup and arugula, parma, tomato salad with grilled chicken. Then I caught a movie and enjoyed my walk back through the green areas, Boston Common and back down Newbury Street. It was a great visit. I’ll have pictures up soon. I’m at the airport waiting to head back to Florida. I officially love Boston!
