As a female solo traveler, I have always found it interesting that many women I meet say they could never travel alone. My travel usually does not involve a lot of adventure. It mostly focuses on luxury, food, wine, spas, locations, etc for me.
I am always surprised to hear a woman say they are uncomfortable traveling alone. Many times at conferences, I see women eat in their room as they are not comfortable in a restaurant by themselves. They are missing out! I try to plan ahead or go exploring and eat at local restaurants to enjoy the location, even if on business or at a conference.
